Pricing & insurance

Two clear ways to receive acupuncture care.

Choose either affordable self-pay community acupuncture or a private, insurance-billed treatment. Keeping these pathways separate makes your pricing easier to understand before you arrive.

Start by choosing your payment path.

The care is individualized either way. The main difference is the treatment setting and how the visit is paid.

Community acupuncture

Treatments take place in a peaceful shared room. This model keeps care affordable and makes it easier to come often enough for acupuncture to do its job.

Ongoing care

Return Community Visit

$40–$80

For continuing treatment, maintenance, pain relief, stress support, and follow-up care.

Community care package

Three self-pay community acupuncture treatments. Purchase the package at your visit.

3 for $108

No proof of income is required. Choose what is sustainable for you within the listed range. Community sliding-scale visits are paid at the time of service and are not submitted to insurance.

Insurance-billed and private treatments

New-patient private visits are scheduled for 75 minutes, and return private visits are scheduled for 60 minutes. We can bill accepted insurance plans when acupuncture is covered and the correct benefits are confirmed.

  • You are responsible for amounts assigned by your plan

Common pricing questions

Can I use insurance for the community sliding scale?

No. Community sliding-scale acupuncture is a separate self-pay pathway and is not combined with insurance billing.

Can I choose self-pay instead of using insurance?

Yes. You may choose community self-pay or a private time-of-service visit instead of using insurance. Private rates are $125 for a 75-minute new-patient visit and $100 for a 60-minute return visit. Please make that choice before the appointment.

Does accepting my insurer guarantee coverage?

No. Network participation and acupuncture benefits vary by plan. Your insurer makes the final coverage and payment decision.

What if I have a deductible?

When insurance is billed, you remain responsible for the deductible, copay, coinsurance, or non-covered amount assigned by your plan.

Are cupping and Zoom Qigong billed to insurance?

No. These are self-pay services and are booked or paid for separately from insurance-billed acupuncture.

Not sure which appointment to choose?

Please call before booking. We will help you choose community self-pay, a private time-of-service visit, or the correct insurance appointment.
